Lake Mineral Wells State Park, Mineral Well, Texas

December and the approaching Christmas Season brings us back to this place each year for both a perfect location where tall trees help to block the winds of the approaching winter and we get to enjoy the annual "Christmas in the Park" show and celebration at the outdoor amphitheater.  This location has a healthy mixture of both rocky and fine soil trails.  Lots of wildlife abounds in this park and you are almost certain to see whitetail deer at some time during your stay.  The campsites have water, (but no electricity), picnic tables, fire rings, lantern hangers, and steel posts for picket lines.  Restroom facilities are excellent and hot showers feel great!  Shoes on your horses are recommended.

NOTE:  While the dates are “set”, the location of the ride is subject to change depending on conditions that may be out of our control, such as trails being closed due to weather, high lake water, scheduling conflict by the host site, etc.  Recheck this listing frequently for most current information.
